Executive Director: Charliese Brown Lewis

Charliese is an educator, author, editor, publicist, and podcaster who provides platforms for others to use their voices to be genuine, empowered, and courageous. During her career, she has worked diligently to encourage and coach individuals and organizations to develop their vision fully through intentional planning, aligned processes, and strategic partnerships. Lewis earned her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education/English from Kentucky State University, an M.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in investigative reporting from The Ohio State University, and an M.S. in Higher Education from the University of Kentucky. 

Charliese says:

I am grateful to the Louisville Literary Arts for entrusting me with the next leg of the journey in providing opportunities for readers and writers to connect with one another, strengthen their craft, and promote their work globally. 

This is the next level to serving and nurturing writing gifts by creating more partnerships, learning opportunities, and literary platforms for people to use their authentic voices. Let's write!
