Louisville Literary Arts is thankful for this partnership with
our emcee extraordinaire, Lana Dean Helm.

Lana Dean Helm is a different kind of animal. She writes with abandon, selects an accent of the day in which to speak, and anxiously awaits the moment her superpowers will be revealed. She is hoping these will include time travel, flying, and breathing underwater. Lana aspires to be discovered as the direct heir to the throne of England, although she has been verified as a 3rd generation descendant of the Irish and German peoples. As long as she is alive and awake, she will write to live and live to write, hopefully with a crown upon her head. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and can be found at Miracle Monocle, Civilized Beasts, The Mythos, and other publications. You can find Lana on Twitter at @lanadeanhelm.
