Avery Guess (@averymguess) has received a 2015 NEA Fellowship for Poetry and grants from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund and the Kentucky Foundation for Women. She is the Grant Program Manager at the Kentucky Foundation for Women and a PhD student at University of South Dakota. Recent publications include poems in diode and Rogue Agent and creative non-fiction in Still: the Journal, Entropy and The Manifest-Station. Her debut full-length poetry collection, The Truth Is, was published in April 2019 by Black Lawrence Press.

Adam Shaw lives with his wife and daughter in Louisville, Kentucky and holds an MFA in fiction writing from Concordia University, St. Paul. He is the author of the novel The Jackals, and his short fiction and essays on relationships, pop culture, and nostalgia have appeared in Taco Bell Quarterly, Across the Margin, Sledgehammer Lit, and elsewhere.
